Questions about Apex in the chat

Do I need a developer or a terminal?

No. In ChatGPT and Claude you add Apex as a connector and sign in. The terminal is for developers who prefer the Apex CLI or a local server.

Can the chat launch a test on its own?

No. The chat builds drafts. Approving QA and launching are clicks in the Apex app, so a person decides what goes live.

What can the connector see?

Your tests, goals and ideas in the one shop you approve, and your account profile. It can create and edit tests, variation files and ideas there. You can revoke the key any time.

Is Apex in the ChatGPT app directory?

Not yet; the listing is pending. Until then you connect Apex as a custom connector in developer mode.

What does free mean?
